Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is a once-in-a-generational investment in Melbourne’s transport infrastructure – and it begins in the East. Construction between Cheltenham and Box Hill will be complete by 2035, including a new station by Deakin University’s Burwood campus and upgrading Glen Waverley station to become a vibrant retail and hospitality hub.
Markham Estate Social Housing
The Big Housing Build is a historic $5.3 billion investment in social and affordable housing for Victoria’s most vulnerable. The redevelopment at Markham Avenue Ashburton will create a 178 dwelling across 5 buildings.
Mount Waverley Reserve Master Plan
Thanks to community support and the hundreds of local residents who signed my petition, the Andrews Government has committed $2 million in funding in the 2022/23 State Budget to help deliver the Mount Waverley Reserve master plan .
Mount Waverley Ambulance Station
Our Government funded the construction of a new 24-hour Ambulance Branch in Mount Waverley. This new station gives our local paramedics a bigger, modern base of operations to do what ambos do best — save lives and provide world-class emergency care to our local community.
Ashwood School
The Andrews Government has committed $9.7 million in funding to upgrade and modernise the school, including a new permanent facility and upgrades to sporting facilities.
Brentwood VCE Centre
The $4.6 million project was funded in the 2019/20 State Budget and officially opened in Term 1 2022, students at Brentwood Secondary College can now utilise the newly constructed VCE Centre they deserve thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Jells Park

A co-investment with the Andrews Government, Monash City Council, and local fundraising events, supported the funding of a new refurbishment of the Monash Men’s Shed. Men’s Sheds provide valuable mental health and social wellbeing for many in our local community.
Burwood East Special Development School
In the 2022/23 State Budget, our government delivered $8.7 million in funding to replace the relocatable buildings with new permanent classroom facilities, ensuring every child can access the learning environment and resources they need to success.
